as Bella Sharke

At the age of 5 Ebonny knew she had a passion for acting and singing.  Growing up in the church doing both helped her get general experience.  Then in high school she honed in on her skills by taking acting classes.  It was then that she fell in love with acting.  Now her goal is to pursue her passion and to use the gift God has given her to encourage others to do whatever they set their heart to doing.                                                                 

Charles Lee

as Lonnie Sharke

Charles is a well known actor in the Northern Virginia area and credits numerous roles in theater, film, and television for this.  He has had roles in productions such as A Raisin in the Sun, Luv, American Style, and A Dream Deferred.  Charles spent a lot of time studying Lonnie and brings a great style to the character.

Alicia White-Foxx

as Chelsea "Sissy" Sharke

Alicia is  is a native of Caroline County, Virginia.  She is an Advisor for the Department of Labor in Washington, DC.  Alicia is a member of Third Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Antonio Baker.  Alicia has been singing since she was four years old; her beautiful voice is requested at many area events.  Alicia is also an Event Planner, and has hosted many  prestigious events in the NC, VA,, MD, and DC areas.  Alicia is the mother of two, and she has one grandchild.  Alicia’s stage play credits include What if God is Unhappy and The Reason for the Season, M&M Ministries productions.

Claire McAuliffe

as Mindy

Claire is a native of Richmond, Virginia and graduate of James Madison University.  The last to join the cast, Claire assumed her role with confidence and distinction, and she and Ebonny seemed to function as best friends off screen as well as on.

as Leslie Sharke

Janeva is an experienced actor and model who has been featured in multiple magazines, or on their cover, including a six-page spread series in Essence magazine.  She's had leading and supporting roles in productions and has also been featured in commercials, videos and has been trained by some of the best, including television and movie star Tasha Smith.  Some of her acting credits include a supporting lead role in Lord I Believe in 2017,  a supporting lead role in Wounded, the stage play in 2016, and a supporting lead role in A Good Black Man in 2014.  She enjoys singing, writing and reciting poetry, dancing, boxing, swimming, tennis, reading, traveling and creating ways to entertain family members and volunteering in with youth in the community, specifically young women. 

as Lorna

Tammi is a masterful actor and singer.  She's had numerous trainings, even being trained by David E. Talbert; and has multiple theatrical productions under her belt, as well as film and television.  Some of her credits include: Love Thy Neighbor , a Howard Graham­Bey Production; The Last House Standing, a Cultural Works Production; and Slaves to Sin, a JSJ Production.  She serves as an an acting coach and recently founded her own casting company, Tammi Rogers Casting, LLC.

as Pastor Thomas Thornton

Wain is an experienced actor and model and has numerous credits under his name.  He has starred in national commercials, movie videos, and has shared the set with many famous figures such as Sheryl Lee Ralph.  

Antwon Twave' Fuller

as Hector

Twave’ by way of Richmond, Virginia is a Singer/Songwriter/Actor/Producer & Entertainer. He has worked in the short film The Button Directed by Chip Johnson. He starred in the  full length feature with the action-drama Blunt Force Trauma. He produced and starred in six music videos for Twave’ Entertainment. He has acted in two films for RMP Productions and most notable for playing a Union Solider in Steven Spielberg’s Award winning Lincoln

Kristal McLaughlin

as Amy Archer

As a focused Case Management Specialist, Kristal combines technical knowledge with functional experience, and interpersonal skills to successfully do her job.  She brings that same degree of focus and determination to her character, Amy.  Kristal sets well-defined and realistic professional and personal goals and is motivated to achieve.  

Walter Parker

as Mitch Connelly

Walter has many credits under his name by the many theater, film and television productions, including television commercials.  Some of Walter's acting credits include: A Roxanne "Southern Gal" Production Sins of a Father; an Eric Butler "Big Brother" Production, Don't Tell Grandma I Met Him Online; and Soul Food.

Jemar O'Neal

as Tye

Jemar is a native of Virginia who has been in the acting industry for 14 years.  He began acting at age 13 in high school theater and was moved to advanced drama where he became certain of his life's dream of acting.  In January 2011 he took to New York City where he began training in the art of method acting (as taught by Stella Adler and Sanford Meissner) at NYCDA School of Film and Television.  Since 2012 Jemar has starred in multiple Inde films and took on supporting roles in a wide genre of inde/short films and webisodes.  Currently Jemar has been writing his own projects with hopes of bringing stories from his childhood to life and diversifying the cast with hopes to involve his love of culture, music, acting, and storytellling.

Sade' Pleasants

as one of "The Girls"  

Sade' is an employee of the public school system, a praise dance instructor, and is responsible for the choreography of many dances at her place of worship.  Sade' started her own photography company in 2017.

Ki'ara Montgomery

as one of "The Girls"

Ki'ara is a recent graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, and advocates on behalf of domestic violence victims.  Ki'ara is the founder of BuildBlack, a non-profit organization.  She is a former dancer and choreographer.

Ahlishia Shipley

as Angel

Ahlishia is a native of Louisville, Kentucky and as a true Kentuckian is a fan of the Kentucky Derby.  Ahlishia is a relationship specialist and works effortlessly to strengthen family relationships and their quality of life.  She is also Beyonce's number one fan.
